Weekend

Really determined to go out for some fresh air. Lol. Friday, went to IMM, never been there for quite a long time already. Meet Tpl in one of the aisle in Giant. It is such coincident. =) Happy on that night cause got myself some cheap bargain Fila T-shirt, bottles and bag. Ate sushi too!

Saturday, ma, dad and xiao b came to s'pore suddenly. It was really sudden, like that kind of sudden that give me a shock when I woke up late to see that they were reaching soon aldy. Around 11am, wanted to go Bugis to get my bro a new watch. Parked the car in Simlim Square and so we went to 'take a look' of the handycam available. And guess what? Everything was so random, my dad bought a handycam because of the good package that the boss offer! Wohoo~ Yeah~ I can bring it to World Expo lo! Haha.. First major event for video-taking will be the coming Cny.
After that, my family rushed back to JB for some business and so me and Feng went to few other places. Went to Clarke Quay. Nothing to play in the bright daylight afternoon. Lol. Sound wrong. But anyway, we walked along the S'pore river and went to Lao Pa Sat instead for some refreshing ice!

Green beans ice and the one that I loved! Durian milk ice!

Then, after that, walked by Fullerton, Esplanade and to Suntec. Wow.. It was really a long walk. Went Suntec for Aston! Really miss it. If only the stall in PGP are still there then I wouldn't have to travel so far.

Forgot the name. Fried chicken? Chicken chop? Cutlet?

Came back to hall after day.. And that was the time that I start to feel the cramp at my stomach area. Oh no.. IBS has come to visit me again.. Argh... And I am still feeling the pain right now. The pain is with me like for 28hours aldy. I slept and slept for almost whole day aldy due to the discomfort. Hmm.. So, the first thing I gotta do tmr is go to UHC and get my medicine. Oh gosh.. Can I just cut off my gut? Ah.. I am feeling sleepy and generally not well again..

Exciting life!

Wow. I am quite excited now. Listening to MyFM online. And it is featuring live interview with 12th XQRJ finalists. Really see the improvement in XQRJ. Wow.. I am impressed. So touch to see the growth throughout these years. Although I only joined in the big family as X9 but joining XQRJ is really the best decision that I have ever made in NUS. The best memories of hall life when we worked tgt, had fun tgt and rocked UCC tgt 3 years ago. X9 is past memories but XQRJ move on and the f'ship among us is constantly growing. Love XQRJ. Muacks!

Ok ok.. Change track for a another exciting event coming up! I am sort of like organising a graduation trip to Shanghai-Hangzhou with the help from KahHsiung and Feng. So excited! Excited about the Expo World. It is such an amazing event! The streets, the architecture, the people and the food in Shanghai. Xiao Long Bao! And Hangzhou, the most beautiful, best tourism site in China.





The best part is you know what??? Bear bear will be in Shanghai till July and we can really save a lot if we can stay in his 'home' over there. And World Expo will be in Shanghai from May to Oct 2010 ONLY!!!! So, It is really a must go!

Decided

Decided to go for Guardian and rejected the others. Why? Cause I like the environment better and I like the personal development that Guardian is emphasize on. Other than the pay, working in Guardian will provide more flexibility too.

Why? If only my parents will ask about this question too. Meet them on Monday late evening after I made the decision and replied to the institutions. When I was talking about the experience that I went through on the super packed Sat. My ma interrupted and ask me so how is the pay. I told her that is basically and most likely the highest pay among all institutions for pre-reg pharmacist aldy. And after hearing my answer, then my dad shot:"then your bro's gf is better than you aldy as she is getting few hundreds more then you for her second job".

Yaya.. That is all you care. All you care is the number.

Whatever. If you do not understand than I shall not discuss about the matters any further. Sometimes, I just don't like how they react. Never mind.

Classmates sort of like decided of where to go after we graduate aldy. Some offers are really not bad too! as the environment is so competitive now. =) Hope everybody will find their happiness in whatever they do in the future.

Meet my sis on that Monday too. After she came back from her Taiwan trip. Guess what she brought for me? A quite ex Burberry Brit perfume and a bag which she said is very 'hot' in Taiwan now. And I tried the 'pad-like' mashmallow lo. The packing is so funny. It is packed like pads for gals use (Duh..) and there is individual packing inside. Just like the real thing. Lol. And the mashmallow inside. It is really soft~

Job application

These few days had been in a rush. Few major decisions in a few days.

Sat for pre-reg talk for a whole day today. So many institutions. So many pathway. Which to choose? Where will my future be? Community pharmacy? Hospital pharmacy? Submitted forms right after talk and had receiced call from few institutions within 2 hours after submitted the forms and am gonig for a few interviews tmr. It is super efficient. Oh my... Tomorrow will be an 'Interview Day'. Subsequently, I have to decide which institution to attach to for the 9 months pre-reg programme before the coming Fri. And, this may be a high-chance of being the destination for my future career. I mean.. Seriously, do we have to rush through this??? I thought I can go home this weekend somemore... Sigh..

Study pharmacy in NUS is really 100% job gurantee. That's quite true. We are sort of like going for job interviews even before we graduate.

Wish me luck for interviews tmr. Gotta travel to a few places somemore. And have a good dinner tmr. =)

All about food!!!

All about food that I tried during this December holiday!!!

Drove to S'pore at the weekend when my exam ended to shift stuff back. Brought my bro along to crap with me along the way. Went to Bukit Timah mamak with my bro and Yf.


Then, on the weekend night, went out with Pw, Joanne, Josh and my bro in Yf's car. Wanted to eat the steamboat buffet in Lavendar but it was closed down! Wow. But it was long long ago since we ate last time lo. So, we ate in the same shop, but become 煮炒 now. Not bad yo. Then went Chinatown for dessert!


Went to eat Dimsum with Yf parents and Yf sis before me and my bro drove back to home that Sunday. Not super nice (cause Seremban one is nicer. =p) But not bad la. Never eat dimsum for quite long aldy.

Another one fine day during my stay at home. Parents wanted to travel to Muar for some business purpose so me and my bro tag along and went for the food there. =P Ate the famous 鱼片米粉 and the other dishes. Eat till super full oh~

When my younger bro went up to KL. I went to try the 2in1 buffet steamboat in Kluang with my parents. If the cancer rates suddenly increase in Klaung, I think the buffet have some contribution in that. Cause, the other consumers just continue to stir and fry their food on the super blacken aluminium foil. Carsinogenic de la. Oh my.. The waiter and waitress over there didn't volunteer to change the foil too. I really don't know they are just too 'business-minded' or they don't know about the fact of burned food causing cancer. Sigh..

See our aluminium foil. It is still silver. Lol. Best is to avoid eating BBQ too much la. =P

Went Batu Pahat with my parents for their business stuff again and I tag along to try those steamed soup. Really delicious oh. This shop went on the show of 阿贤好介绍 before too.


Went KL with family from 16th till 18th Dec, went to eat this Taiwan delicacy, eh.. forgot what is the name of the shop, but it is in Sunway Pyramid. Not bad not bad~

Ate Popoye for dinner in Sunway Pyramid with my ma, sis, bro, my bro's gf and Siew Ping! Ya.. Meet Sp there and she went shopping with us for a while too. =)



During the second day of the family trip in KL, meet Chan and at night, I drove my bro's gf car out cause my ma was too tired and want to stay in my bro's house to rest. Chan direct and I drove to Williams. Oh my.. the trip there was well... Memorable.. cause the car is kancil without air-con... and with jam in KL.. We simply enjoy it. Lol.

During the end of Dec, went to this shop in Kluang 森记烧腊. Ate chicken rice added with chaw siew~ Ordered the herbal chicken soup too! Super big bowl with the price of rm5.50 only. If only I can find this kind of food in S'pore with that kind of price la. Lol.


Oh oh.. After all these food, I really should try to reminds myself of my body weight lo.. or else my cute little tummy will say hi to me liao. Argh!!! don't want.. =P But that is only for holiday and when there is good food ma...
